The Heart of Our Work
From Eight Goats to a Growing Community Herd
What began as a response to Hurricane Matthew has grown into a powerful example of resilience and sustainability. Today, BNFI's Goat Raising Program continues to create opportunities for families to strengthen livelihoods and build brighter futures.
What Changed:
A community herd has grown from 8 goats to more than 90 goats.
Families have expanded income-generating opportunities.
Communities continue to demonstrate resilience and collaboration.
