Project Overview:
We aim to ignite a
revolutionary movement among Haitians, those who
love Haitians, and individuals from all walks of life and
beyond to learn the Haitian national anthem in the
Haitian language
Our focus is to organize intergenerational gatherings
through interactive workshops infused with drumming
and storytelling. These events will serve as a platform to
reclaim our narrative, dismantle the chains of ignorance,
and forge a new path forward. We will provide
educational materials, establish partnerships with local
organizations, and actively seek feedback to ensure our
Initiatives resonate with the community.
We aim for a world where cultural knowledge flows like a
mighty river, passed down through generations, ensuring that
future Haitians and all understand but fiercely
appreciate the rich history of Haiti and its contribution to humanity.
This future is a tapestry woven with threads of
increased cultural awareness, tools to change and navigate
the inequity of all the “anti”.
All the ‘anti ' that prevent unbreakable solidarity among community members,
and an unwavering commitment to social justice and equity.
We are creating a movement that empowers individuals to
reclaim their narrative, challenge the status quo, and
dismantle the oppressive structures that seek to silence us.
Our work is a clarion call for inclusivity and equity, honoring
our past while boldly striving for a brighter, and a more just future.
